The
Programme Committee for ALT-C 2002 is pleased to invite you
to begin preparing your submissions in the New Year.
ALT-C
is seeking to adopt a policy of continuous improvement of
conference submissions. The
Programme Committee has reflected upon feedback from ALT-C
2001 and sought to integrate some practices from traditional,
subject-based conferences into the process for inviting and
selecting submissions.
Accordingly,
we are providing definitions of the types of submissions we
will be inviting, the criteria for selection and the guidelines
for submitting each type:

last date for submission of full draft research papers
and their abstracts is 11th March 2002.
Last
date for all other submissions is 8th April 2002.
